:: how people inhabit different spaces

Photography assignment for Arch 3250, Remapping the City.
We were to walk a specific route from Rapson Hall to Cedar-Riverside.  After taking photos and notes of the journey, we assembled a sequence of six photos.  I focused on how people inhabit different spaces differently.  On campus, many paths are used as transitory, secondary spaces.  Then as you go off campus, a sidewalk can become a primary space that a person may claim as their own.  These distinct cultures of campus student life, artists and hipsters, followed by a Somalian community are oddly close in proximity.
